HISTORY OF THE TUG HILL WHEELERS
The Tug Hill Wheelers started in March of 1987 in Barnes Corners, New York which is approximately 75 miles north of Syracuse on NYS Rt. 177 which is part of the Tug HILL Plateau. The group decided that the name for the club would be the Tug Hill Wheelers ATV Club. They started up with 14 paid members. The purpose of starting the club was getting people together to ride. We are a family-oriented club that encourages ATV safety for Adults and children. We also encourage our members and non-members to have respect for not only the environment but also for land owners for if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have a lot of our trails and if the riders can't stay on the trails and pick up after themselves then stay at home.
